Mission Statement

Develop training for importers that helps them understand and implement controls to meet the requirements in 21 CFR 123.12 Special requirements for imported products. The target audience is those that import only, not import and manufacture using those imported goods.

Workgroup Responsibilities & Duties

Develop an AFDO training course for seafood importers.

Workgroup Size Limitations (or other requirements)

The workgroup size is limited to 5 people.

Workgroup Level of Commitment

The time needed to develop the course is 40 to 60 hours.

Workgroup Term Limits

Yes, until the course is developed and trained. There will likely need to be a few tweaks to the course after the initial trainings.

Workgroup Meeting Frequency

This workgroup meets monthly.

Workgroup Minutes

Will assign a minute scribe for each meeting.
